@Abhishek_Nigam,

I had apparently already solved by disabling the two services HP Hotkey UWP Service and HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching UWP Service - it took me a couple of restart to see the effect of the disabling, but today the two bad boys have behaved well and haven't given any issue.

Anyway, I decided to try also your suggestion, so few minutes ago I first reactivated both services setting them for "Automatic" start, then installed the patch indicated, and finally restarted the computer... and so far everything is running normal, with no sign of misbehaviour of the two services previously offending.

I will keep on monitoring in the next days, and let's hope...

Thank you for finding out that patch!

La solution est de "Désactiver" le service en question. Autrement, même si vous stoppez le process. Il se relance automatiquement à chaque réveil du PC.

Services.msc

"HP Audio Analytics service"  --> Proprieties --> Disabled

En attendant que HP trouve la solution.

Celle-ci fonctionne parfaitement et ne retire aucune fonctionnalités "Hotkey"

I had the same problem,  but I looked at any possible Windows system updates and there were 4 less obvious optional updates suggested (img below). I installed them. Now it seems the problem has completely gone. So, I suggest this may fix it.

Optional updates Win10Optional updates Win10

Hello,

Yes  you are right with this windows updates "optional" (not realy visible and not automatics)

Ma solution fonctionnait mais celle ci est mieux car elle corrige le problème.

Thank's very much

Merci beaucoup 👍

Same with my EliteBook 820 G3
Since some days or weeks I have noticed the shutdown took much longer. Maybe an interference of missing driver update with recend Windows update? Don't know whether this is also linked to this issue. Today my CPU fan ran high and in the task manager I noticed the high CPU load. After installing the optional updates mentioned by Aydenne3 ‎11-19-2023 and restart the computer runs normally with moderate CPU and energy consumption. I will keep an eye on it.

Yeah same, shutdown takes longer for me as well ProBook 440 G7

We are experiencing the same, multiple HP laptops reporting this from many users:

Process name: "HP Hotkey UWP Service"

Service under the process "HP Audio Analytics Service"

Details: "HPAudioAnalytics.exe"

Location: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\hpqkbsoftwarecompnent.inf_amd64_bunchofnumberslettershere

Last modified date: 13/09/2023

Version: 8.10.40.148  (although today I got it patched via windows update)

CPU Usage 15-25%

Fans spinning up making noise.

It seems HP doesn't listen to users' opinions, do they respect us? This situation has happened a lot in the past and continues to this day. Like you, I couldn't find a perfect solution for it, just a small service that consumes CPU at a high level, bringing a lot of discomfort to users.
