Is there an option to limit my laptop's battery charging to 80% only? My laptop's unit is 15s-eq2xxx. Thank you!

Your notebook does not support that option.

Only some HP business-class notebooks support that feature.

See the link below for how to get the most life out of your notebook's battery:

The main thing is to not leave the notebook plugged in to A/C power 24/7/365 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state, as that may lead to battery swelling.

Hello. I'm still kinda confused since I'm not that techy 😅. If I wanna use my laptop while plugged in, will I just let it be until it reaches 100% or will I unplug it when it reaches 80%?

Hi:

You can unplug it when your finished using the notebook if the battery is at 100%.

The battery will slowly discharge because it is used to maintain the BIOS and system clock settings, so when you turn the PC on the battery will not be at 100%.

The longer you have the notebook off, the battery will have a lower charge percentage when you turn it back on.

Thank you so much!
