My hard drive died. I am trying to install a new SATA SSD and install windows 11. So far I have tried with winodws 11 downloaded from MS site and installing on the new SSD but the new SSD is not showing is the drive to select.
So far, I have downloaded RST driver from the HP website on the same flash drive, but since I cannot see the new drive I am unable to install.
In UEFI, I do see the new drive . I have selected to boot from USB Drive.
Still, no success.
Please help me, anyone?

I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers your PC needs below.
Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.
Click Next, and Windows should install.

Thank you Paul for your help. I had every thing but correct drivers. Previously I had down loaded Intel drivers from HP for this notebook, however they were not the correct ones. Thanks for providing correct drivers.
Install went smoothly.
