Hi @SandySarvagna

If you're having difficulty updating HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI or recovering your PC, here are some steps you might consider:

Updating HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI

  1. Download HP UEFI Diagnostics Tools:

    • Visit the HP Support website.
    • Go to "Support & Drivers" and select "Drivers & Software."
    • Enter your product name or number, click "Search," choose your specific model, and then select your operating system.
    • Look for the "HP UEFI Support Environment" link in the Diagnostics section. Download the tools.
  2. Install Diagnostics on a USB Drive:

    • Follow the instructions provided on the download page to install the diagnostics software onto a USB drive.
    • Ensure the USB drive is empty and formatted as FAT32 before installation.
  3. Running Diagnostics from USB:

    • Insert the USB drive into the PC and restart.
    • Press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
    • Press F2 to select Diagnostics.

System Recovery Issues

  1. Check Recovery Partition:

    • From Windows, check if your PC has a recovery partition.
    • If it does not, you might need recovery media, which can be ordered from HP or created using HP Recovery Manager on another HP device.
  2. Access Recovery Key:

    • Ensure you have the correct Recovery Key usually found within your Microsoft Account if it's related to BitLocker.
    • If disabled, check BIOS/UEFI settings for security options that might block recovery.
  3. Recover Using HP Recovery Manager:

    • Turn on or restart your PC and press Esc when the HP logo appears.
    • Press F11 to start HP Recovery Manager, follow the on-screen instructions to initiate system recovery.
  4. Use External Recovery Media:

    • If all else fails, boot your PC via recovery discs or USB flash drive if you have them.
