Product: HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Downloaded HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows version 1.6.2.0.  Ran a component test on keyboard which failed.  Went to log.  Clicked in failure ID box.  pop up came up that asked if I gave HP permission to share my information which I chose "yes".  and then clicked on the next option.  No 24 digit failure ID code never appeared.

This sounds like hardware related issue with the keyboard. Hence, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out.
