Could you please provide the BIOS version that the HP Pavilion 14-cd1007tx originally shipped with? I’m experiencing some battery-related issues and would like to verify whether the BIOS version might be contributing to the problem before attempting an update or other troubleshooting steps.

What BIOS version does your notebook have installed now?

There are two BIOS versions that don't seem related so you would need to select the oldest BIOS version listed under the Revision History section for the relevant BIOS version your notebook has now:

HP Pavilion x360 14-cd1007tx Software and Driver Details

HP Pavilion x360 14-cd1007tx Software and Driver Details

Read the release notes...they may indicate how far back you can go.

The laptop currently has BIOS version F.25 previously, it had a different version, but I can’t recall which one.

OK, then if you look at what I posted, there was no F.25 BIOS revision on the F.32BIOS update page.

The previous versions were F.13, F.12, and F.03.

So the only F.25 BIOS update is the latest one on the second link I posted.

If you want the very first BIOS, you can see if you can install F.04, which is listed as the original BIOS update.

Version:
F.04 Rev.A
Fixed in this release: - Provides the initial BIOS.

Thanks for providing me with the bios version! Now there is actually another problem. When I download the Installer it will not let me Install the bios as it says that my laptop is incompatible. Is there any way to go around this?

You're very welcome.

Most likely, there's a BIOS update that won't let you go back to that version.

You may have to try and go back to a newer version.
