HP Pavilion G62 driver problem (ATI Mobilitiy Radeon 5470)

Hp doesnt support my laptop anymore. But i am using it. For me there is a problem with my graphic card which is ATI Mobility Radeon 5470, i can not find a proper driver on amd website or any other. When i download current driver from amd website, it doesnt work and my driver completely broken. Hp doesnt list my drivers for G62, especially up-to-date driver for Radeon 5470 vga, is there anybody can help?

Hi:

Your notebook ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 graphics adapter has probably overheated during the years and is no longer able to support the driver.

This is the correct driver you need that will install both the Intel and AMD GPU's.

If it does not work, then there is nothing you can do.  It would not be worth the time or expense to replace the motherboard on such an old notebook.

Unfortunately, that would be impossible since HP retired support for the G62 model series since it is more than 10 years old.

I just checked the link I posted and you are correct.  For some reason it doesn't work.

Yes it worked for me too. But i remember, there was a newer version of this driver on hp's website. Is there a chance to find it? Because a program which i use regularly (adobe premiere pro) doesnt work with this version of the driver. I used this program with that newer version.

Maybe it is this one...I got it from the G62-300 model series which for some reason still shows up on the support site...

That did not work too 😞 I think i need my laptop's driver page. Some older version laptops' drivers are still available on hp's website. Disappointing...
