Pavilion 15-cx0056wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wondering if there's a way to access the advanced bios settings on the Pavilion 15-cx0056wm laptop. Also, I noticed that the laptop is always turbo boosting even when cpu usage is below 15%.  This attributes to unwanted heat. Turbo boost should only boost when the cpu usage calls for it. Is there a way to fix turbo boost so it only increases clock frequency when the usage is high? My power mode is set to balanced mode.

Welcome to HP Support Community

The BIOS is already designed for optimal performance and you cannot make any advanced modifications in the BIOS as it might damage the product.

If you are facing any issues you can try updating the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Thank you and have a good day 😊

That's not helpful. Most laptops have advanced options. I would like to disable turbo boost on this laptop.

Unfortunately there are no hidden advanced BIOS settings on this Notebook where you can disable Turbo boost.
