Hello,
My HP Pavilion 15.6" Touchscreen laptop left hinge broke and the left corner is cracked and bulging. The laptop was not dropped and didn't fall. When I open and close the laptop, the hinge is shifting and then separating the lower part of the case from the upper part. The screw from the lower case is falling off and I am not able to open or close the laptop. The warranty has already expired. Please help.
Thank you in advance.

Update:
When I first called the service number that was sent in a private message to me, they gave me a quote of over $400 to fix the hinge. I called them again and they gave me a new case number, and wasted around an hour or two just sending me back and forth between help for people with warranty and without warranty. Of course, I would have to re-explain my situation every time I got transferred, and for some reason there was no one willing to address my concern that the hinge broke from regular use and that others had similar issues with HP Envy and Pavilion laptops. Finally, either the representative I was talking to at the time ended the call, or maybe it was just some connection issue. I got a call a while later, but couldn't pick up at the time. I called them back and was told that I would receive another call within 5-10 business days, so now I'm waiting for that. Hopefully, this can be resolved soon, but I just wanted to put this out there for others who may also be dealing with HP's support service.
