I have lost all volume for my Pavilion dv6. I am also getting an error message that says I need to reinstall the application MSACM32.dll. Is this something I can download?

I tried with the hard reset for the problem, It worked and is the simplest way for solution.

I was having the same exact problem (touch controls for wireless internet and volume not working) and the hard reset worked perfectly! Thanks for the help.

thanks man. i also had the same issue after installing windows 8 for some weeks. after formatting and installing win 7 the problem was stll there until i read this thread and fixed it.
