Frequent failure of keyboard and tochpad of my laptop with and without updating same recurrent problem

Hi! am Shema, I saw your post about the keyboard and touchpad failing frequently on your HP Pavilion x360. I’m here to help could you let me know a bit more so I can guide you through the right steps?

 

  • When did the issue start—after a Windows or driver update?

  • Do the keyboard and touchpad stop working together, or at different times?

  • Does an external USB keyboard or mouse work normally when the built-ins fail?

  • Have you seen any error messages or red flags in Device Manager?

  • Have you ever updated the BIOS or tried a hardware diagnostics test?

  • When the issue appears, does restarting fix it temporarily?

With a few more details, I can walk you through checking drivers, power settings, or even BIOS features that might be causing the issue.
