I have been scammed by HP for the 2nd time. I called HP for support. At HP's support number. They remotely took over my computer. Then charged $104.99 from a company named Mentormedia through Pay Pal. I had no idea at the time they were not HP because I was on an HP site.  2 days later the computer problem was not resolved so I called back. I was again charged $104.99 and told that Mentormedia was one of their vendors and that the problem showed the charges didn't go through the first time and I didn't have the anti-virus protection /firewall with the services I assumed I had purchased 2 days before,  on my computer so I was charged again $104.99. This time it showed on my credit card statement as HP, not Mentormedia. I had no idea they had gone through PayPal. Then several days after that I got another charge from HP for $16.99. I have no idea where that charge came from. I have tried for weeks to get this resolved through HP. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. I get put in the carousel that just goes round and round, or the call drops. I have no resolution and they have my money. This is the second time I have called HP smart friend and the call is taken over by people who are not HP. There is no way to verify if the call or remote control of my PC I am told. Right Now, I am on the phone HP,  I am being charged  a new amount $14.99. This is coming too.  $231.96 for a month. **bleep**??? I have a bunch of computers I have to buy but I will not be purchasing HP nor HP  Scam Friend as this is the second time this has happened where I call HP for tech assistance and get a scammer claiming to be an HP tech.
