HP Pavilion Gaming
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I load HP Support assistant, it shows that my laptop (which I ordered less than a month ago) is out of warranty. When I use the HP Warranty check using the serial number, it says I still have 13 months left (I also purchased a CarePack but that is a separate issue at this point).

I noticed that in the HP Support assistant, the model number is completely different than what auto-populates the warranty check. The confirmation email on my order shows the same as on the Web site - different than HPSA.

I tried the "dispute warranty" site but I can't get it to submit the form - tried on two separate browsers.

Anybody else have this issue? As far as I can tell the computer matches the specs of what I ordered (it was a custom build).

@mwisebaker

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

HP Support Assistant can help resolve computer. However, there might be times when HP Support Assistant does not work as expected.

Resolve most HP Support Assistant issues by going to Download HP Support Assistant to install the latest version.

If problems continue, go to Troubleshooting HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7) to troubleshoot specific HP Support Assistant error messages and issues.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
