HP Support Assistant is not finding the available drivers for the ZBook 15 G3 mobile workstations. After checking for drivers it simply states that there are no new drivers available. It does correctly recognize the system, from the OS to the hardware, software, serial number and product number.
They are running 64-bit Windows 10 (1709). The drivers can be installed manualy without issues.
Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

May I know if you can give it a try with the HP softpaq download manager ?
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/HP_SDM_Setup.exe
Version:4.3.23.0
I believe this will definitely fetch all the required drivers for the unit.

You can download drivers that you need for Z book from
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-zbook-15-mobile-workstation/5387800 and install them.

I understand you can manually install them from HP support page here:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-zbook-15-g3-mobile-workstation/8693763
So have you installed all the latest drivers already from your support page? If so, HP support assistant will not show any new ones.
If not, you can try installing HP support assistant software to the newest version given here, after uninstalling the previous one: http://www8.hp.com/in/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html
Restart system.
Check again for drivers, softwares.

Hey,
For workstations you should use HP Image Assistant: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05820785

I used the latest version of HP Support Assistant before manually updating the drivers. I also check again after manually updating a few of the more important drivers.
HP Support Assistant continues to show no updates available.

I am testing it now. It does find all the drivers and akin to the online support page I still need to filter out some drivers that are for specific hardware configurations. Think AMD drivers when the mobile workstation has Intel and NVIDIA hardware.
