Hello, I am not sure that i have ever signed into that support assistant, but if I did, it was before upgrading to the latest version of windows 10. i do not think i can uninstall my 12 month trial of mcafee livesafe. I noticed that it does not list hp support assistant in it. it lists a lot of other HP software.

HP Support assistant does list some drivers to be updated, but it suddenly says there is no internet connection, when clearly there is. I am trying to check to see if I have an infrared camera. Anyways, I need to get HP Support assistant to let me sign in. It is messed up. I noticed that probably yesterday, HP kept giving me popups, and LiveSafe was asking me to authorize different HP programs. I couldn't even access the browser before authorizing those programs first. But I authorized them. Please advise.

anyone? i read an old article that it might have to do with a network bridge. also I use mcafee live safe. it keeps asking me to authorize programs every time windows is updated. so i don't know if it blocked HP support assistant. HP Support assistant does not show up, but there may have been some network program that was authorized. it will not let me sign in. However, it was setup when i setup this laptop.
