My HP Support Assistant indicates with an exclamation mark that i have messages.   I have read and deleted those messages many times --- but they keep on reappearing.   I believe i have the latest version of the support assistant on my computer.

I do not see the HP Support Assistant in my program files -- it seems to be hidden.
