Hi,
where can I configure automatic restart after driver update with HP Support Assistant? It restarted my computer in the middle of of work just notifying me about a restart in 1 minute. Thanks
Jakub

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Assuming Windows 11 for this system -
HP Support Assistant is not listed in the Software and Drivers web page - OS selected: Windows / Windows 11

Like it's long-time-ago predecessor, the HPSA application provides a limited number of settings to help you decide how to manage the operation.
Opinion
Left to its default setup, HP Support Assistant is a "live" update tool - that is, when set to automatically check and install updates, HPSA will do that.
You can control the weekly schedule day / time and select the type of updates the application should seek and install.
If you don't want HPSA to surprise you, switch off the automatic updates .
When you are ready to run the application, open the HPSA and "Check for Updates".
Can't remember? Stick a reminder in your calendar.
As the device ages, there will be fewer and fewer updates -- adjust your check schedule accordingly.
At about a year old, consider checking once a month for updates.

You are welcome.
Opinion
I can't imagine that HP will change the behavior -- the app is just a newer version of the same software that has been around for years. Could happen -- I would not plan on it, though.
If you cannot stand to switch off the Automatic updates setting to manage your own update schedule,
Consider scheduling the next check for updates during a time when you are likely not using the computer or when you are aware of the scheduled check and ready for a Restart if it happens.
