When I got this laptop from my uni, it came pre-installed with the whole HP security package: HP Client Security, Sure Run, Sure Recovery etc. Because my laptop had become messy, I decided to give it a fresh start, removing most of the pre-installed software, and when I did this I had Sure Run still activated. Since the fresh start, I have been getting annoying notifications upon start-up:

What I find strange is that although HP Sure Run is in RemovedApps.xml, it is still activated and on my laptop. How can I rid myself of this nuisance?

Note: I don't have HP Client Security Manager installed anymore since the restart, so I can't do what the notification tells me to do.

After doing some BIOS and registry wizardry I got HP Sure run and Client security manager to work again. As a Carepack owner I would have liked some assistance in resolving my problems though...
