My webcam has stopped working. I'm getting error code 22 in Device manager. I tried updating the driver with no luck. I looked on he HP site for this particular webcam driver, but it's no listed anywhere, so I have been unable to uninstall and resinstall it.
I went through the forums and looked for solutions, but non helped.

This sounds like driver related issue, Let's perform basic troubleshooting steps.
Firstly, click the windows start button and search for Device Manager, click and expand Imaging device and right click on the webcam driver, and select disable. Restart your device and enable the device.
