So here's my current situation. Since last year, both my internal microphone and webcam have been inactive. I am not sure whether this is the problem, but I might be missing the drivers needed for both the mic and webcam. Currently, I am using an HP Envy dv6 with a i7 processor and Cyberlink Youcam. I had just re-downloaded the application, but the option to select my internal camera and microphone is not present. I am in deperate need of help and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could find the solution to in consistent inactivity.

My Envy dv6 notebook pc's model number is: D1B19UA#ABA and is currently running Windows 8 (64-bit).

Hi G2Phase. The first thing to try would be to restore the original Audio(IDT) and Webcam software and drivers using this method:  Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 😎
