Regarding the unanswered question https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/HP-Wolf-Bromium-folder-clean-up... , the folder C:\ProgramData\Bromium\vSentry\4.4.18.269 is now taking up 44.7GB of data, almost 10% of total HDD space.

Anyone can explain how to reduce the size of this folder? On HP Wolf Security panel don't have any option or help.

Thanks!

Hi @Gus_1975

In theory, everything in the Stage folders can be deleted since they are diagnostic files used by HP for eventual problems. They can be created with this tool.

Using TinyDisk to extract a Bromium Isolation template (hp.com)

Anyway I recommend you to contact HP

I had exactly the same problem and couldn't find any advice on the web.

But I found a solution on my own and it seems to be working at the moment.
Here it is:

(my OS is not in English, so the following terms in quotes were translated by me and may differ slightly in the English version).

After finding out that such giant folders are created by the application "HP Wolf Security", I searched and opened this app by typing such terms in the search field.
Selecting "Settings" and then "Threat containment" there is the "initialization" section.
I clicked on the "Reinitialize" button ("Reinitialize to update after changing the Operating System") and after some work 40 GB of space were freed up on my HD.
I hope it can help: let me know if it works for you as well.
