my hp zbook laptop camera giving me a dark screen anytime i want to use the camera

If you are getting any error after openning the camera app. 

Camera app "We can't find your camera" Error Code "0XA00F4244"

Then check for Camera driver listed under device manager or not.

If yes, re-install the camera driver.

if no, shutdown the unit and open PC in BIOS mode by pressing/tapping F10 after the first press of power button during boot.

Checked if the Integrated camera Option is listed under BIOS > Advance > Built in device Option > Integrated Camera.

Alongside also look for the Option of Microphone in the same BIOS Option.

If you do not find the option, then there are chances that the camera cable is faulty and you can consider replacing camera cable. Or contact HP Customer support for assistance.
