Got this Laptop yesterday. There were a few driver updates that came up. This one, sp92056 keeps coming up every time I run HP Support Assistant even though I already installed it.
So either it isn't getting installed correctly or HP Support Assistant isn't recognizing it. Should I do anything or is there anything I can try?
I tried downloading it directly from the HP driver site also. No luck after installing it manually. It still shows in HP support assistant.
This is the driver: Intel Chipset utility driver

I looked at the specs for your model, went to a HP business class notebook with similar specs and got the driver from there.
I made sure the driver had support for the Kaby Lake chipset, which it did.
HP does a better job of keeping the business PC's drivers updated because you pay more for that kind of support when you buy a business class desktop or notebook.

I installed the same driver on my little HP Stream Pro G4 which has the Apollo Lake chipset and it worked.
The chipset driver on my PC's support page was older.
Pretty weird installation though. It ran and didn't give any indication that it installed. But it did.
