Every time I shut down my computer and turn it back on, I get something saying if I would like an app called HPReadHWDataUninstall to make changes to my device, and enter my admin password. Even if I press no, nothing seems to happen. Accompanying this is a pointer glitch. My pointer begins to move very slowly. After a few minutes, the issue resolves itself. This has already happened many times to me, and I don't know how to solve it. Should I delete the application?

Hello Ge1at0,
I am having the exact same problem (same popup and also lagging mouse and keyboard) since about two days.
Have you found any solution?
Also I am using a HP Envy x360 15,6-Zoll-2-in-1-Laptop-PC with WIndows 11.
And the path of the .exe file: C:\Program Files\HP\OmenInstallMonitor\HPReadHWData\HPReadHWDataUninstall.exe.
Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Hi Marius. What I did was delete the application HPReadHWDataUninstall. That removes the popup when you turn on your computer. However, I'm still experiencing the pointer glitch. I'm not sure how to get rid of the glitch once and for all.
