Hello, I am in desperate need of assistance updating my BIOS on my HP Notebook. I don't have a lot of experience with PC's, but after attempting every option I've been provided, I haven't had any success. My BIOS hasn't been updated since 2016, and as such, I have been unable to update my WIndows 10, update my WIndows Store (which is preventing me from downloading any apps outside of Microsoft) and just updating my BIOS manually. I am on the verge of breaking this laptop, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK.
Is this the BIOS you are trying to install?
Download and double click on the file and install. The PC will reboot maybe a couple of times and then you should be good to update to a newer version of Windows 10.

hope it helps,

When I try to install the new BIOS from the first link, it tells me to either update my Microsoft Store or to put my computer out of S mode. Turns out, my computer isn't even in S mode. I'm trying to download the Windows 10 update now, it seems to be going smoothly so far.
