@Adnin Note: Please ensure the complete product name/number for a quicker response from the community, as we need to know what we are dealing with to provide an accurate solution: Click here for steps on finding the information we need!
Remember: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Once you identify the complete model name of your device, if you wish to troubleshoot on your own: click here, scroll down to consumer notebooks and download the appropriate firmware to resolve the issue.
If the issue persists, please clear your TPM:
Important
Before clearing your TPM, make sure you back up your data. Do not clear the TPM on a device you don't own, such as a work or school PC, without being instructed to do so by your IT administrator.
To clear your TPM, follow these steps:
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device security .
- Under Security processor, select Security processor details.
- Select Security processor troubleshooting, and then under Clear TPM, select Clear TPM.
You'll need to restart your device to complete the process.
Note
If you have Windows Hello set up (PIN or biometric), it will no longer work after you clear the TPM. To fix this, reset your PIN by following the guidance at PIN sign-in issues.
