Hotkey to disable mousepad en changing backlighting buttons

Dear everyone,

A couple days ago I bought myself a HP Omen 15-ax235nd. So far the (aming) experience has been great.

I have stumbled upon a few things I need some help with;

1) Whats the hotkey to disable the mousepad? 

2) How can I change the back-lighting of the keyboard buttons? Online I read something about "HP Omen control" but that programm is not pre-installed on this laptop?

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

I understand that you are looking to know the shortcut to disable the touchpad and the backlight for your keyboard. 

Don't worry, I will be glad to help. 

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Towards the Top-Left of the touchpad you will see a small dot, if you double tap it, the touchpad will be disabled. 

Please refer to this HP Article for assistance. 

Changing the color of the backlight is not supported by your notebook. 

For the procedure to turn On or Off the backlight, please refer to page number 11 in the user guide of your computer.
