Hi,

You can use these adapters,
HP USB-C to HDMI Adapter : P7Z55AA
HP USB-C to VGA Adapter : P7Z54AA

Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05638816

Specs:
http://www8.hp.com/my/en/products/laptops/product-detail.html?oid=18017854#!tab=specs

You can connect the USB type C port of notebook to HDMI/VGA port in projector using the adapter

See the Manual to locate the USB type C port in your notebook.

The HP help line was useless, they said the drivers wouldnt work (im trying to connect a HP monitor 23er to a HP Envy).

How can a company release a laptop that #1 -doesnt connect to their own monitor, #2 has no alternative connection or alternative monitor?

I have purchased an HDMI to VGA adapter - will this work with my HP Envy?
