I am trying to download video from a DVD I made a few years ago from home movies, so I can convert it to MP4 files that can then be edited and moved to an external hard drive (idiskk).  I get a message that the videos have been down-loaded but then they cannot be viewed because the file is either in a form that cannot be read or is corrupted.  There was one exception when I was able to view the video on my notebook as a file, but I am not sure how I did that, and I was not able to use the file to make/edit a new movie.

I am new to using the Envy x360.

Thank you!

You need a software to convert DVD format files to MP4 files first (we also call them as ripping software). The are some free and paid products around, for example
