I just purchased an HP Stream 14 in Windows laptop Intel Processor N4120 4G and it is supposed to have one year of Microsoft office. However when I went to set it up it only gave me 5 days. I need to know at this point what to do. I did not accept that agreement because that is not what the purchase agreement was. What do I need to do or just return this laptop. It really does not have the best processing speed either.

@Frustrated-777, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Microsoft Office!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your new HP Stream 14 laptop is supposed to include a 1-year Microsoft Office subscription but it only offered you a 5-day trial, there are steps you can follow to resolve this issue:
Steps to Activate Your 1-Year Microsoft Office Subscription:
Check the HP Documentations or Packaging:
- The subscription should come with a product key or an activation code in the form of a card inside the laptop box or in the packaging materials.
Pre-Installed Office Application:
- Open any Office app (like Word or Excel) pre-installed on your HP Stream 14.
- Sign in using your Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, you can create one for free.
- Follow the prompts to activate Office. You might be asked to enter the product key provided.
HP Support Assistant:
- Use the HP Support Assistant software pre-installed on your device to check for any specific instructions or steps specific to your model.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
