HP G62-222US Notebook
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I need to use the webcam on my notebook and I can not figure out how to turn it on. Better yet when I go in to see my device options they only thing I see installed is my current printer. Does this mean it is not installed? What do I need to do?

Well in Win 8 and above its preinstalled but in 7 you need to install a third party software

as you have a built in camera search for some webcam softwares like Yawcam if you need some alternatives visit:

https://alternativeto.net/software/yawcam/

If this helps mark post as solved.

I installed the software for the Yawcam. When I opened the software it says no device found. Looking in the control panel it showes no camera however looking at my compter I can see a camera. Is there another option?

Hello again.
First of all you should consider an upgrade. But if you still want to stick to win 7 then try this:
Open device manager
Find your camera device
If its there update it
If its not there install it from device manager
if you don't know how to do that just Google it there are tons if tuts

Hope this helps
If this didn't work try contacting HP support via email.
