Hello @dogs_rule1

More details will help me help you.

What is the model number of you new PC and what program are you needing to open the webcam in?

Is this for a Skype call,  you just want to turn on the webcam and record video or something else?

If you just want to record a video of yourself...

Click on the Start button and scroll down to Camera and click on it. The interface should pop up that will let you run the webcam. The two icons on the right side of the window will be a video camera icon and a still camera icon.

Selecting either one will work that function.

Let me know if this is not working for you.
