I changed the mouse pad gestures on my last HP Pavilion laptop, which was a HP Pavilion - 15-AU051TX.
However I have tried all instructions and YouTube tutorials to do it on my newest HP Pavilion, yet the instructions don't match up to what I see in my settings. When I rang HP they said my laptop has to be for business use to enable me to change the mouse pad gestures. Surely this cant be the case?

Welcome to HP support community.
Single finger scroll doesn't seem to be an option, did that work previously and did any update changed it?
Meanwhile:
Go to : Click here
Sort by Version.
Download last WDF driver (Elan - Other hardware - ELAN Input Device For WDF)
Unpack it by e.g 7ZIP.
Open folder.
Open "ETDAniConf"
Set your options. Enable Edge Scrolling.
Press OK.
Now you have edge scrolling. You can edit anything by this file.
Let me know how it goes.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
