Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to encrypt a computer hard disk.

 

Mine says "Privacy and Security" instead of "Updates and Security" but I also have a separate "Updates" options within settings. I clicked both and neither have a "recovery" button.

Thank you - the laptop does not have "edit group policy".
