Hi,

 

I recently purchased HP Victus 3025 model. While setting up I skipped MS 365 activation but activated office 2024(lifetime). I got 1 year MS 365 subscription with the purchase. But now I don't see any option to activate it from the linked MS account or otherwise. Now i see only the default 1 month trial option. Please advise how to get 365 subscription(1 year) back in my account.

It looks like skipping the initial activation may have caused the 1-year Microsoft 365 subscription to not register properly. Here’s how you can try to activate it:

 

Steps to Activate Your Microsoft 365 Subscription

 

Step 1: Check Your Microsoft Account

  1. Go to Microsoft Account Services.
  2. Sign in with the account linked to your laptop.
  3. Look for Microsoft 365 subscription—if it’s missing, it may not have been activated.

 

Step 2: Activate via Office Apps

  1. Open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
  2. Click Sign In and use your Microsoft account.
  3. If prompted, enter the activation key (if provided by HP).

 

Step 3: Check HP Support for Activation Help

  • Visit HP’s support page for activation instructions.
  • If the subscription was bundled with your laptop, HP may provide a redemption code.

 

Step 4: Contact Microsoft Support

  • If the subscription does not appear in your account, contact Microsoft Support here.
  • Provide proof of purchase and details about your HP Victus laptop.

 

If none of these steps work, you may need to reach out to HP Phone Support directly to confirm whether the subscription was properly included.
