The floating microphone toolbar that appears just above or ontop of any VOIP application is in the way.  How can this be disabled?  If not, can I disable the application entirely but leave the driver?

Unstalling the B&O application and drivers solved the problem.  Upon restart Windows installed default drivers which sound better and also solved a known problem with HP audio and spotify.  HP apps tend to cause the volume to drift slowly up and down while listening to Spotify.

So by default drivers, do you mean Windows Generic drivers or machine-specific drivers minus the B&O software?
