Product: HP 15-f033wm Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

How do I fix this??? The ram slot is screwed up. I have tried duck taping it... But it wont stay. one side of the slot semi works. I broke the metal piece on one side keeping the ram in. The ram is good. What should I do to fix this?

 

UPDATE: THE OTHER SIDE WITH THE METAL IS NOW BROKE

I understand the RAM slot on the Motherboard is damaged.

 

As this is a hardware issue, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
