HP Recommended

Hi, I have used second hand Elitebook and I looking a way install linux to it. Normally, we can use USB live sticks to install linux, but these modern Elitebooks seems restricted someway.

I am not sure what is happening.  Is the laptop preventing the USB from booting becauses secure boot is enabled?  if so, go into the BIOS setup or just press the function key that allows you to configure the USB to boot.  The last I read, linux does not use secure boot but I suspect that depends on the distribution.
