I use my laptop in reverse mode (keyboard down).  How can I power on without lifting it up to access the power button?

Here's how you can turn on laptop without pressing the power button or even opening the lid. This method works on nearly all laptop models, like Lenovo, Dell, HP, Asus, etc. running Windows 11 or older. Look for an option called "Instant Boot" or something similar in your BIOS. It will enable you

Thanks for the idea, Banhien.  It took me some time, but I found:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ClickToRun\InstantBoot in the registry.

I was confused about what to do with it.  It contained REG_SZ blank and REG_DWORD C2RTaskUpdateApply in Progress.

I tried changing the DWORD to 1 instead of 0, but it didn't help.  I also tried changing the REG_SZ to 1 instead of blank.  That didn't do the trick either.

Can you help me figure out how make this work.  I'd really appreciate it.
