I mistakenly uninstalled HP CoolSense when I got my Pavilion, thinking it was junkware. Now I've got an overheating problem, and want to reinstall it. I just wasted an hour chatting with an HP "support" rep, who was no help at all. Can someone please give me a link where I can download HP CoolSense? Thanks.

You might find that app on the microsoft store. Please look at the following
Alternately, you can always restore your system to factory settings. Go here

and put in your product ID including the 3 letters after the # sign. for example:
Note that any licensed software (other than windows) will have to be re-installed or activated.

Thanks, BeemerBiker (I've owned two Beemers, and loved them, but mostly ride Ducatis) . After finally finding a download link (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp67501-68000/sp67743.exe), my system told me that CoolSense isn't compatible with my unit. So I guess I never deleted it: it was never here. Good riding!
