@chanuk, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your OfficeJet 4650!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand that you're looking to restore the IP address on your HP OfficeJet 4650 printer. I’d be happy to assist you with this.
Restart Printer and Router
- Turn off your HP OfficeJet 4650 printer.
- Unplug the router from the power source and wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the router back in and wait for it to fully restart.
- Turn on the printer and check if the IP address has been restored.
Manually Set a Static IP Address
If your printer is still not getting an IP address, you can manually assign one:
- On the printer’s control panel, tap Wireless (Wi-Fi) icon.
- Select Settings > Wireless Settings > Advanced Settings > IP Address Configuration.
- Choose Manual and enter an IP address that matches your network range.
- Example: If your router’s IP is 192.168.1.1, set the printer’s IP as 192.168.1.100.
- Save the settings and restart the printer.
Reset Network Settings on the Printer
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
- Confirm the reset and restart your printer.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network by selecting Wireless Setup Wizard from the Wireless Settings menu.
Let me know how it goes!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
