Hi:
Your notebook was manufactured in 2010 during the 10th week of the year.
For the serial number, the typical format is to have the 4th, 5th, and 6th characters to reference when the product was built. The first character is the year date (Y) and the next two (WW), the week in that year it was made.
CCSYWWZZZZ

Hi,
Some people say using CCSYWWZZZZ to workout and in your case 010 means year 2000, week 10. But this does not make any sense when year is greater than 9. I think we should use CCSYYWWZZZ and in your case 0109 means year 2001 and week 9.
Which ever way, your machine is around 15 or 16 years old. What is it ? I can try another way.
Regards.

Hi, @banhien
No way a HP G61 was built in 2000 or any year from 2000 - 2008.
2010, week 10.
Amen.
You have to have a ballpark idea when you bought the PC, and apply that process to determine the date of manufacture.
When the 4th character is a zero, it could be 1990, 2000, 2010, 2020...You have to have some kind of idea when you got the PC.
When the 4th character is any number, you have to have some kind of idea when you got the PC.
the 0-9 rolls around each decade and is perpetual.
