Envy x360 15-ed****
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I have a HP Convertible with an ANSI and Swiss keyboard layout. On ISO keyboards, the greater/less than signs and backwards slash are located next to the left shift. On my currrent keyboard, however, the greater than sign (">") is positioned top left on the "L" key, the less than ("<") bottom left, and the backwards slash ("\") on bottom right. So, total of 4 signs on one key.

How can I type each of these keys?

What keyboard layout should I have?
Which keys do I need to press?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to enter the greater than and less than symbol on an ANSI keyboard layout.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Below are alt codes you need to use to enter the greater than and less than symbols.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Sounds good in theory, but it takes a good half a second before the character appears, which can be very annoying when I'm programming.

Any other ideas?

Is the working fine in other programs?

Can you help me with the product number of your computer?

Thanks!
