Thank you for the suggestion, but there is no Cortana in my (and many other's) region.

You used to be able to enable it by changing the time and location. Try that.

Works for me.

Install remote mouse on your smartphone, then connect ur phone and ur laptop, and u can use the remote mouse application from ur android or iphone to wake up the screen in tablet mode

Touch the magnetic side of accompanying pen on the side or bottom of laptop between hinges. It will bring it back up and vice versa.

I have read the various messages and replies as I have the same issue with my new laptop . I am equally perplexed by this design oversight . I look forward to a solution ASAP .

I have the x360 13-ay0477ng (AMD). It wakes up with my bluetooth devices (Logitech MX Keys or MX Master 3). But what if they are not nearby?? Also, I have the HP Pen (1MR94AA) and that one doesn't wake the laptop up either (it's not bluetooth either).

Dear HP,

would love to have the wake up option via touching /double tapping the touchscreen. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love this. And we are all customers that you're disappointing here...

Best regards...:)

I have purchased a HP Envy X360 eu0011nf, and I have the same issue. It's really annoying... Something like double tap on the screen to wake up will be very helpful....

I previously posted this response that worked for me

1. Go to Settings.   Choose Talk to Cortana. Turn 'Hey Corona' on.  Turn on 'Use Cortana even when my device is locked'.

2. Saying 'Hey Cortana' will wake screen and this command will show the pin screen for unlocking the screen:
"show pin login screen" . Click in the pin box and type.
