Hello, how do I properly update the BIOS for my laptop. Is it worth doing it yourself with a flash drive? Or what are the options for updating the BIOS. Thank you in advance!

Hi:

 

You can update the BIOS by downloading and running the latest BIOS update for your notebook from the link below, which is F.56

Have your notebook's power adapter connected, and the battery at least at 50% charge.

 

Download the file.  Close out of any applications/open windows, etc.

 

Run the file and follow the on screen instructions to update the BIOS.
