So randomly one day my labtop black screened upon powering up. No boot up, bios doesn't work. Nothings.

The fan will turn on, the power light will turn on, and a white light blinks on the right hand side near the port for the power. If I hold the FN key and press the lamp button for the keyboard lights. It turns on no problem.

Caps locks won't turn on and num lock either. Fan stays on but the screen just stays black. I even plugged an HDMI into the labtop and the display never came up on the TV.

I removed the battery and the hard drive after taking off the back to inspect for some kind of visible damage just in case. Nothing. I dont want to bring it to geek squad and get charged out the wazoo for this if its just a problem that can be fixed with unscrewing a part and replacing said part.
