No internet,just mobile hotspot
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

To be honest I'm not adept with knowing all keys functions on my hp.My first ever hp and I had windows 10 placed into my wee machine.Im so sure that it's a simple fix.Unfortunately I'm not the savviest of folk with pcs.I hope I've explained in detail for anyone who wishes to come to my aid.thanks Jaki

Hello @Jaki49_ 

 

Your old notebook model is not compatible with Windows 10. HP only supports Windows 8.1. I would recommend you to ask a good friend/acquaintance who knows computers well.

 

My recommendation

A free open-source Linux operating system should be installed (e.g. the very fast Lubuntu for older computers).

 

If it's just about writing a few documents and surfing the Internet, then that's completely sufficient. Moreover, it offers you more security than Windows!
