@thrilok_3482, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
To successfully pair your HP 240 Bluetooth mouse with your HP Pavilion laptop, follow these steps:
Enable Bluetooth on Your Laptop:
- Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
- Click Devices.
- Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
Prepare the Mouse for Pairing:
- Turn on your HP 240 Bluetooth mouse.
- Ensure the mouse is in pairing mode. Check the mouse manual for instructions on how to enter pairing mode, usually by holding a button or switch until the light flashes.
Pair the Mouse:
- On your laptop, go to Bluetooth & other devices in the Bluetooth settings.
- Click on Add Bluetooth or other device.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Your laptop will search for available devices. Select your HP 240 mouse from the list.
- Follow on-screen instructions if prompted for additional pairing actions or passcode.
Complete the Pairing:
- Once connected, your mouse should start working immediately.
- If you encounter any issues, ensure both devices are within proper range and have sufficient battery.
