This issue often happens if network or Bluetooth services are disabled or the drivers are corrupted.
Go to Services (Windows + R → services.msc) and make sure Network Connections and Bluetooth Support Service are running.
Then open Device Manager, uninstall and reinstall your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers, and restart your PC.
If it’s still greyed out, running a system scan usually fixes it.

This usually happens when Windows doesn’t detect the wireless card properly.

Open Device Manager with Windows + X and check under Network Adapters. If Wi-Fi and Bluetooth don’t appear, power off the PC, unplug it for a minute, then boot again. If they’re still missing, reinstall the chipset and Wi-Fi drivers from HP’s support page.
