That is very normal because the way we count bits and bytes.  One example: my machine has 3 physical drives

        3disk.png

Disk 0 (1TB)  but system counts as 931.5GB, it has few logical partitions,

Disk 1 (2TB) but system counts as 1863.02GB

Disk 2 (32GB) but system counts as 28.64GB

The simplest way to work out in your case: 512GB = 512,000,000 bytes, system counts : 512,000,000/(1024 x 1024) = 488.28GB therefore C: = 475GB.

Please read more info on MS forum

512 gb only showing 475 gb?

Regards.
